July's download is our rendition of the song Greetings, composed by Sudanese oud player Hamza El Din. This is an outtake from our album Crossing Painted Islands and was recorded in early 2005 with our MediterrAsian Jazz Ensemble. Greetings wasn't included on the final CD, but in the spirit of continued celebration around the new album we're glad to offer it to you now. Enjoy!
